Nobody sits at a computer 24 hours a day watching graphs. In fact, if you don’t want to, you don’t have to sit at the computer at all, and yet you can have instant information about the course movements that interest you.

Let’s see how to use the alert to any signals offered by the popular TradingView tool. If you’re hearing about it for the first time today, read the How to work with charts on tradingview review.

I have to point out that in the free version you only have one alert, which is next to useless, but the ivesting to the basic pay tariff is not terrible and is definitely worth – USD 14.95/month ($12.95 for annual parlament).

TIP: Do you haven’t an account on TradingView? Start it for free and try alerts in a 30-day trial. And if your trial has run out and you’re only using the free tariff, I have a $30 discount for you.

How to Set an Alert

Sign in to your TradingView account, go to the commodity chart you want to set up, click on the clock icon, and then click on plus icon:

Now set any alert. You always have what’s on your chart. For example, let’s see how to set the alert to something happening with my favorite ADX indicator. To be safe, I repeat, if you don’t have ADX enabled on your chart, you won’t see the possibility of alert on it.

You can see in the figure below that I have set a warning to come to me if:

BTC USDT pair on the ADX indicator crosses DI+ (green line) DI- (red line) upwards.

That’s the buy signal.

Next, I set that I only needed to be alerted once and that the alert was valid until some time. The last important setting is where you want to send the alert. If you’re setting your alert because you’re not sitting at your computer, logically, the best notification is in the TradingView mobile app – that pops up on your mobile. Personally, I have alert sent to email in addition to my mobile app and pop up as a popup right in the browser window where I’m running TradingView. The more alerts, the better, at least you won’t miss anything.

And that’s it. Once the conditions you set up happen, you’ll know about it. I suggest you try the specific alert setting, because sometimes setting the conditions can be more complicated, and if you make a mistake in it, you’ll get your alert completely different from what you intended and probably won’t do you any good.

A tip for saving on TradingView

All pay tariffs have a free month to try, so you’re not taking any chances. But the best part is that once you activate the trial version of the pay tariff, the offer of a 50% discount on the annual payment comes to your e-mail. And that’s an offer you can’t refuse 🙂
